Meet the Team
Mary Herman:
Hello I'm Mary, also known as "The Queen". I have been married to Dr. Herman for 35 years and we have 2 grown sons. I am originally from Santa Clara, CA and have lived in North Carolina, Atlanta, GA, and all over New Mexico. I worked as a cancer registrar for 20 years at UNM and traveled all over the reservation gathering data for the University of New Mexico. I have been at Four Corners Orthodontics since the day we opened! I enjoy rock climbing, traveling, reading and weight training with my trainer, Sylvia. I love our office, the staff and all of our wonderful patients!
Amanda Maestas:
Hi! I'm Amanda or "Mandy Moo" as I'm known in the office. I love photography, reading, scrap booking and traveling. I was born and raised in Farmington and graduated from Farmington High School. I went to school at San Juan College for Business. I'm single and have a mini schnauzer named Diamond who is my baby! I have been at Dr. Herman's since 2004 and love the team and our patients.
Kelcey Rightmire:
Hi I'm Kelcey. I was born and raised in Carnegie, OK where I played basketball, softball and cheered. I moved to Cortez, CO with my mom and went to school at Fort Lewis College for finance and music. Since that time, I have been playing the saxophone and competitive piano for 10 years! I had planned on playing college basketball until I had to have knee surgery. I now love to watch OU football with my husband and 5 kids. I also love scrap booking, watching my kids wrestle and play football and sing karaoke on our PlayStation. I have been at Four Corners Orthodontics since 2007. I love having fun with my teammates and co-workers at Dr. Herman’s office!
Cheryl Harry:
Hi, I'm Cheryl! I have been at Four Corners Orthodontics since 1998! I grew up in Many Farms, AZ and graduated from Fort Lewis College with a bachelor's degree in sociology. I did social work for 3 years until I met Dr. Herman and have been with him ever since! I am very passionate about my job, the people I work with and the people I meet. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my youngest daughter and my grandkids.
Cheryl Kirk:
I'm Cheryl! I am a hygienist at Four Corners Orthodontics and I have been here since May of 2010. I am originally from Oaksprings, AZ and graduated from San Juan College in May 2008 with my associate’s degree in dental hygiene. I worked at several dental offices and worked with a school program before I landed my job at Dr. Herman's office. I have four awesome kids, (3 boys and 1 girl), and a wonderful husband! I love to cook, run, spend time with family and friends and read books. I work with a great team that works hard and makes every day fun at Four Corners Orthodontics!
Brittany Potter:
Hi, I'm Brittany and I am one of the hygienists that works with Dr. Herman. I was born in Texas and raised in Farmington. I love to travel, train my dogs and help my husband in our garage. I am married with a new baby on the way. I have been with Four Corners Orthodontics since February of 2010. I love working in our new hygiene department and making people smile everyday!
Teresa Fisher:
Hi I'm Teresa, or Tess as I am also known by. I am originally from Farmington and graduated from Piedra Vista High School where I was a cheerleader and played volleyball. I also graduated from Southwest Community College. I have been working in general dentistry for 5+ years and recently started working in orthodontics with Dr. Herman in early 2011. I am certified in dental radiography and I.V. sedation assisting. I love playing with my dog, Stewie, learning to play the piano and the guitar, and I love to camp.
Christina Benally:
I'm Christina! I am married with 2 boys and 3 girls! I was born in Shiprock and originally from Mitten Rock, NM. I graduated from Shiprock High School where I played basketball and was a cheerleader before graduating at 16 years old. I attended school in Phoenix, AZ and I have been at Four Corners Orthodontics since 2001. I love to draw, read and most of all spend time with my family. I enjoy working with all of my teammates at Dr. Herman's!
Sheri Ann Sam:
Hi, I'm Sheri Ann! I have been with Four Corners Orthodontics since 2010. I am originally from Cortez, CO and I have an amazing fiancé named Craig, and 3 little girls. I like to camp, hike, play volleyball and spend time with my family. I love my job at Four Corners Orthodontics!
David Stradling:
I'm David and I am originally from Farmington, NM. I graduated from Farmington High School and BYU and I have been at Four Corners Orthodontics since 2006. In my spare time I like to play video games, read, shoot guns and do archery. I enjoy working with Dr. Herman at Four Corners Orthodontics!
Cheri Black-Begay:
Hi, I'm Cheri! I love playing volleyball, taking pictures and getting together with loved ones. I am originally from Dzilth Na O Dithle or DZ for short. I graduated from Bloomfield High School in 2000 where I played both volleyball and basketball. I am married and have 3 children. I have been at Four Corners Orthodontics since 2002!
Nicolette Begay:
Hi I'm Nikki! I have been at Four Corners Orthodontics since 2010. I am originally from Kirtland, NM and graduated from Kirtland High School in 2004. I attended Apollo College in Mesa, AZ and San Juan College in Farmington, NM. I love to spending time with family, fishing, going to the movies and playing at the park. I enjoy working with Dr. Herman and helping people create beautiful smiles!
Riiana Jo McMullen:
Hi I'm Riiana! I was born in Pomona, CA and lived In Los Angeles for 14 years. I graduated high school from Aztec, NM in 2008 and attended San Juan College. I have been at Four Corners Orthodontics since 2008 and I’m considered the baby of the office since I am the youngest employee! In my spare time I love to golf, bake cupcakes and be a ring girl for the Sky Ute Casino and caged fury MMA.
Dakota Coolidge:
I'm Dakota I am from Oklahoma and Shiprock. I graduated high school from Shiprock High and went to dental assisting school in Las Vegas, NV. I also went to beauty school in Florida. I have a loving husband whom I have been with for 18 years; we have an awesome son named Ethan who attends Navajo Prep in Farmington. I love hello kitty, watching football, basketball and baseball. I also enjoy gardening and hanging out with my family. I have been working with Dr. Herman since 2010 and I love working in the dental field!
Cheryl Yazzie:
I'm Cheryl and I am from Mexican Water, AZ. I graduated from Red Mesa High School in 1996 and went to school for dental hygiene in Phoenix, AZ from 2003-2005. I have a 2 year old daughter and love to spend time with her fishing, hiking, watching NASCAR and playing volleyball. I have been at Four Corners Orthodontics since 2010 and I am enjoying every day here!
Melissa Schmalzried:
Hi I'm Melissa and I have been at Dr. Herman's since 2010. I was born and raised in Farmington, NM and graduated from FHS. I have a 2 year old son that I love to spend time with going to the lake, wake boarding, camping and being in the outdoors. I enjoy working with Dr. Herman and making people smile.
Tami Lamone:
I'm Tami and I am originally from Kirtland, NM. I have been with Dr. Herman since 2006. I have 4 kids whom I love hanging out with. I also love playing pool and I love shoes! I enjoy working with Dr. Herman and all of my teammates at Four Corners Orthodontics.
Amanda Yazzie:
Hi! My name is Amanda, I have been at Dr. Herman's office for about 13 years! It all started as an after school job and I have been here since! I graduated High school from Piedra Visa High in Farmington where I played basketball and I attended Northern Arizona University. I am engaged and have a 1 year old daughter named Madison. I love to scrap book, read and hang out with my family and all with my coworkers at Four Corners Orthodontics!
